LAE Journal

Request for Articles and Manuscripts

The LAE Journal is the "official" publication of the American Criminal Justice Association.  The Journal Editor accepts articles and manuscripts on a continuous basis for publication in the LAE Journal. The LAE Journal is published twice a year. The LAE Journal publishes general interest articles on all facets of the criminal justice system.

The Journal provides a forum for academicians, practitioners, and students in criminal justice in order to improve communications and to increase understanding and knowledge of the system.

Articles are desired which deal with issues, problems and research in law enforcement, criminology, juvenile justice, courts, corrections, prevention, and planning and evaluation. Related articles on education, career development, and student attitudes will also be considered.

If you are interested in submitting an article or manuscript to the Journal Editor, please follow the "Specifications for Manuscripts for Journal Submission" below.

It is the policy of the Journal Editor not to publish articles which have appeared or are to appear in other publications. Therefore, simultaneous submission to another Journal is unacceptable.

Every effort will be made to notify the author(s) of editorial decisions within ninety (90) days of the receipt of the article or manuscript.
