04/30/08	National Scholarship and Student Paper Competition: The applications for the 2009 National Scholarship and Student Paper Competitions have been updated and posted for downloading. The deadline for the National Scholarship Application is December 31, 2008. The deadline for the Student Paper Competition is January 31, 2009.
04/30/08	Second Notices have been sent out to members who have not renewed their membership for 2008. Anyone wishing to remain a member of ACJA-:LAE need to pay their 2008 dues by October 1, 2008. The database will be purged on October 1, 2008 of anyone who has not paid their dues.
04/30/07	When submitting chapter applications to the National Office for processing, please be sure to include a Controller Sheet with the applications. Be sure to fill out the top with the name of the chapter, the mailing address you wish the membership material sent back to, and the person who is submitting the applications needs to sign the Controller Sheet. We are having more and more chapters not receiving their membership material because a return address was not included. The Controller Sheet can be downloaded from the website. This will help ensure that each chapter's new members receive their membership material in a timely manner.
